Hackers in Austin, Texas broke into a digital road sign on a stretch of Lamar Boulevard at MLK Road–a central part of town very near the University of Texas– and changed the message to read, “Nazi Zombies Ahead, Run!” That’s really funny, but it’s a crime! And people are mad. As they should be. (Just kidding, it’s hilarious.) The signs, which usually read things like, “Detour Ahead,” or “Merge Right,” contain a computer inside that is password protected and are usually locked from the outside. Which means whoever pulled off the prank–a level C Misdemeanor in the state of Texas–is good at busting locks of all kinds. Austin is full of college kids AND high tech companies, so police are going to have a good time trying to narrow down the list of possible culprits. That is if they have time to investigate with all those zombies running loose. HA! Video is after the jump.
