The Mother of Our Children of the Day: Eva Mendes Poses For Calvin Klein

Maybe Eva Mendes got wind of the last time Guanabee wrote about her Calvin Klein ads, because this latest campaign forgoes the whole “sweaty Latina grabbing at some dude’s underpants” thing in favor of a more traditional Hollywood Glamor set. Of course, she’s still posing in her underwear, but at least it’s a move in the right direction.

At any rate, we’d like to see many more pictures of Eva Mendes in her underwear, because we’re boys, but we’re also down with Guanabee Editor Alex Alvarez’s overall point. Here’s to a future where our Eva’s career is so respectable that she can keep posing semi-nude all of the time without it harming her artistic cred. Maybe her upcoming movie with indie director Massy Tadjedin will do this? Hopefully? Fingers crossed, y’all, because oh good lord Ghost Rider was terrible. Ooooweeeee!
