Natalie Smith (Photos): Tony Romo’s New Girlfriend. Really Tony? Over Jessica?

Natalie Smith seems to be Tony Romo’s new girlfriend, and may we say he is definitely trading down. He had a well publicized relationship with Jessica Simpson, but he dumped her Chicken of The Sea eating ass in an IHOP parking lot on her birthday. Natalie looks like generic girl from generic suburb. You think he could do better, than that? What’s up Tony? Are you not pulling the caliber of chicks you used to?

The Internet is abuzz with this story, and gossip bloggers began to eat their own faces in excitement when they thought that Natalie Smith was a Penthouse Pet from 1993. This would be kind of cool, as she’d be a cougar out to show Tony how to kick it old school. But no, she’s just a girl from Eastern Illinois (boring!) Her dad is John Smith, (can you get any more generic?) the associate athletic director of Romo’s alma mater, Eastern Illinois University. Romo went to a ceremony inducting him into the EIU Hall of Fame, which surprised people as he probably had better things to do, like…say…be the quaterterback for the Dallas Cowboys. It’s pretty clear why he went, booty call.

Romo, has some balls, though, as he took Smith backstage to introduce her to Jessica on February 6 waaayyy before their breakup in July. Cat fight? Clawing of eyes? Wrestling in a tub of raspberry jelly? Nope. “We hung out for, like 10 to 15 minutes, backstage,” Smith said. “She was cool and nice.” Snore.
Look, you want to cheat on your plastic doll-like girlfriend, at least aim higher. It’s like Romo looked around at his local Walmart and saw his old coach’s daughter and thought, “Eh, She’ll do.” He says they had an “emotional affair” whatever the hell that means. Probably young Natalie is just a rebound girl for Romo, who will invariably find someone hotter and blonder (is that a word?)
