Victor 'Lil Poison' De Leon is one of the greatest professional video game players out there. He's been playing for years and is known by the name 'Lil Poison by his competitors. Did we mention he is 11? Well he is, folks. He holds the Guinness Book of World Records title of Youngest Professional Gamer and by professional we mean he makes money at playing Halo or Grand Theft Auto. Lots of money. That is why Victor De Leon is a badass Latino.
Victor lives in Holbrook, NJ with his parents, who act as the boy's managers. His father won't comment on how much money he has made, but he says it is a lot. How does one live off of playing video games? There are tournaments, events, (such as a new game release), and endorsement deals. Video game companies will also bring in these unbeatable gamers to test new games. Victor has a sponsorship deal and cleans up at tournaments.
Men love to play video games, this is a fact of the universe. We want to hunt and kill, which in our modern society is considered "uncivilized", so video games allow us a release for this caveman instinct. ReplyMr Tomas sir? You need to get out of the city more. There are plenty of people within 50 or 60 miles on NYC who satisfy their "male" instinct to hunt and kill by hunting and killing. It's more fun than video games and one is actually a little more likely to meet a hot chick while out hunting than by staying down in mom's basement playing with one's joystick.
