Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Says He’s Not A Racist, But All The Best Fighters Are Still Latin Or Black

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. set the record straight this weekend about a comment he made to CBS Sports last month saying that whites had to invent MMA because they can’t hang in regular boxing against Latinos and blacks. First the original interview:
After several critics called Mayweather’s comments racist, gossip site Bossip asked him to respond:
First off, let Floyd start off by saying…”I-am-not-racist.” Secondly, what I said is the truth. Whites boys can’t box right now. All the best fighters are Latin or Black. We dominate the sport of boxing. MMA is for beer bellied bar brawlers who don’t care about brain damage and technique. Sorry Bossip, I call a spade a spade. The great white hype theory is true…
Well, that certainly set the record straight. But the question remains, who will prevail on September 19 in the fight between Mayweather and a certain Latino boxer named Juan Manuel Marquez who is the best fighter in Mexico right now? And if it’s Marquez, will Mayweather blame it on racism like he did when he called Bob Arum racist and said he favors Latino fighters? Is there anyone who isn’t racist in boxing or should we not expect so much from people who make their money from banging heads around?
