Miami Dolphins’ New Fight Song By Pitbull And T-Pain Basically A Crime Against Humanity
14 August 2009, 12:53 PM. By Chris Alonzo

The Miami Dolphins are on a roll with their whole “throw everything at the wall and see what sticks” marketing strategy, enlisting the aide of famous Latinos and Floridians to boost their cred with the locals. But nothing — NOTHING — excuses this new fight song by native sons T-Pain and Pitbull.
New Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is mainly behind this aggressive new push, targeting Miami Latinos in an attempt to boost attendance at what they’re now calling “Land Shark Stadium” (thanks to a partnership with Jimmy Buffet, also engineered by Ross.) J-Lo, Marc Anthony and the Estefans have already been brought on as minority owners, and now this, this…thing. It’s an update of the Miami Dolphins traditional fight song, but with the hip-hop/reggaeton treatment. Just…watch for yourself.
T-Pain: I brought my autotuner.
Pitbull: I brought my Casio keyboard.
T-Pain: Let’s do this shit!
For those of you not in the know, that would be popular Dolfans 2Michelles dancing around, though to another song (whoever made this video just slapped the new T-Pain/Pitbull joint over old footage).
Anyway, we were already pretty much in agreement with the guy, but this tears it. We’re officially throwing up our diamonds as a part of Jay-Z’s “Death of Autotune” militia. The autotune clearly hit it’s peak with “I’m On a Boat,” and all we’re left with now are the putrid, desolate remains of a quickie movement gone rotten. And, more importantly, if this is the Dolphins’ best salvo in their campaign to win over young urban kids and Latinos, they probably ought to go back to the drawing board.
