Roisin Murphy, an Irish singer, formerly of Moloko claimed recently in the Daily Mail that Lady Gaga stole her style:

She’s copied my style. I met her about a year ago before she got really big and I had no clue that this was all going to happen. She wasn’t wearing shoulder pads at the time, and I was.

Lady Gaga is just a poor imitation of me. She has copied my style, she took my shoulder pads and all that. Mind you she doesn’t wear the bottom half!

Oh shit, y’all. It’s an old-fashioned battle over who decided to wear the shoulder-padded lingerie burka to the prom first. Or in this case, in front of paparazzi.

Here’s the thing. We don’t give a holy shit who wore what first. We’re just psyched that these two crazy bitches are bringing their wilding out freak style to the masses. There’s about to be all kinds of girls wearing no pants and showing off their penises thanks to these ladies. And that is something we can all be happy about. Right now, we’re gonna show some love to Miss Roisin and appreciate her diligent commitment to bizarre beauty. Check the pics.

  1. i dunno jack about this roisin person, but lady G’s style seems to be so contrived. like, “hey, i’m a first year student in art school, aren’t i just so WEIRD?”

bjork, grace jones, juliette lewis…now those are authentically eccentric people with similarly eccentric styles.

    • Yeah, I updated to add the little I know about her. She’s an Irish electronica chick formerly of Moloko, in case you thought she was a country artist or something.
