picture-129Over the weekend, we were able to sit down with actor Esai Morales for an interview at the 16th annual Austin Film Festival. He was in town plugging his new show, Caprica, a prequel to critically acclaimed Battlestar Galactica set to air on SyFy.

Morales talked to us about why you should watch his show, even if you weren’t a fan of Battlestar Galactica. He also did a pretty, damn solid impression of Edward James Olmos, schooled us on the cartoon short Bambi Meets Godzilla, and was even nice enough to let us ask him about La Bamba and his portrayal of one of the most badass characters in latino cinema, Bob Morales. Check out the video below for the interview.

It’s not my first. Or my last.

  2. He was awesome on Jericho. Too bad that show was cancelled. By the way, who’s doing the interview?

Hah, that was a great interview. With a character like that Caprica looks more promising.
