Jason Rodriguez Is The Orlando Shooter
6 November 2009, 3:18 PM. By Fidel Martinez
Police have taken 40-year old Jason Rodriguez into custody for the deadly, mass shooting that occurred at a private office in downtown Orlando earlier today. Rodriguez is suspected of killing one individual, and injuring five others.
All six of the victims were employees of Reynolds, Smith & Hill, an architectural engineering firm where Jason Rodriguez was a former employee. The shooting occurred on the eighth floor of 1000 Legion’s Place where Rodriguez entered and opened fire.
Jason Rodriguez was apprehended later at his mother’s house. A SWAT squad was waiting for him outside, but Rodriguez came out of the house without incident. As he was being taken into custody, reporters asked him why he did it. Rodriguez responded by saying, “They left me to rot,” possibly referring to his termination from RS&H in 2007.
