vapurA company from Thousand Oaks, California has come up with a pretty ingenious product aimed at making consumers more environmentally conscious. Vapur is a reusable water bottle that can be flattened when empty, so it’s not bulky and an inconvenience to carry around. Not only that, but it’s also BPA-free, so drinking from it won’t make you grow an extra head. Above all, it’s cheap as hell. Each bottle will only cost you $8.95. That’s less than you pay for a lap dance at the Chicas Bonitas strip club.

Why would you want to buy the Vapur, you ask? Well for starters, it will be a great opportunity to kick your bottled water habit. The bottled industry commodifies a natural resource that should be made available to everyone and reaps huge profits for it. Since they’re selling you tap water anyway, their profit margins are through the roof. The process of bottling water and transporting it is also an environmental killer. In some cases, the bottled water industry supports despotic military juntas just so they can tell you their water comes from far away, exotic places and jack up the price.

So what’s the moral of the story? Reusable water bottles, good. Disposable bottled water, bad. Do your conscience a favor and pick one of these bad boys up at the Vapur website. Captain Planet will love you forever.
