Earlier this week, writer Paul Shirley wrote an idiotic piece expressing his views on why he wasn't donating money to Haiti. His argument boils down to him not helping the poor, destitute people of Haiti because it's their own damn fault they are poor and destitute. Obviously, this pissed off a lot of people. Well, apparently giving the people of Haiti the middle finger wasn't enough. Yesterday, Shirley wrote an article reacting to people's reactions. In it, Shirley not only doesn't apologize for being a dipshit, but also expresses appallment that people are calling him out on his bullshit:

I’m disappointed that some outlets chose to extract segments of my column, framing my opinions in their own... when [the readers] were enticed into reading the piece by potentially inflammatory bits that were taken out of context, readers had little chance to look at my views with the proverbial clean slate.

Yep. It's our fault you come across as an asshole, Shirley. We acknowledge that we misrepresented your words, but like you, we won't apologize for it. You can read the rest of his nonapology here.

So you take his whining about being taken out of context out of context. Can I get a job writing for guanabee? I want to get paid to call someone an asshole. Then cut a piece of that persons response to make it look like I did a full day of work.
