Video: Rock And Roll Is For The Birds

picture-112French artist/musician/composer Céleste Boursier-Mougenot has created just about the coolest art exhibit we’ve ever seen for The Curve, an art gallery in London’s Barbican Centre. Boursier-Mougenot took the space and converted it into a walk-through aviary filled with zebra finches. Oh yeah, and he also placed several guitars for the birds to do some serious shredding. It sounds gimmicky, we know, but it’s actually quite awesome. Don’t believe us? Check out what Guitarist, a British website that caters to guitar enthusiasts, had to say about the exhibit:

It turns out these birds can rock– one even goes all Jimmy Page with a twig.

The exhibit will be open for the public starting Februart 27th and will be up until May 23, 2010.
