Olympic snowboarder Scotty Lago sent himself home from the winter games after these photographs of him and an unidentified woman horsing around with his bronze medal made their way onto the internet. The photos feature the young lady holding Scotty's bronze medal between her teeth and hovering near his crotch area. Correct us if we're wrong but isn't this a metaphor for how it works in real life? Don't the jocks, in fact, get their medals sucked for the rest of their lives?
U.S. Olympic Committee CEO Scott Blackmun and chairman Larry Probst said Lago's decision to go home came before the federation had a chance to react to the situation.
"He made that call, and it was the right decision," added Probst.
We have a feeling with the invention of the internet, the Olympic committee's going to have to get used to their athletes getting caught behaving badly.
