New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner died of a major heart attack this morning at 6:30 AM in Tampa, Florida, according to a source who spoke with the New York Daily News. Steinbrenner, who turned 80 on July 4, was rushed to St. Joseph's hospital where he was pronounced dead.
