12 Foreign Objects Found Inside Pablo Escobar's Pet Hippo

For some reason, famous druglord Pablo Escobar used to keep two sets of hippos in his hacienda (just because he could, maybe?). When Pablo was killed the Colombian government basically ignored the hippos and allowed them to roam free. All was fine and dandy until 2009 when the hippos turned into a nuisance and people complained about it. A hippo was killed. But then an animal expert was brought in to figure out how to deal with them. The government was set on killing them all but the expert said that was a 'no-no' because they were technically endangered. Also, it was inhumane. Instead the expert suggested that they'd be brought back to the hacienda and be properly taken care of. Sure, It was a burden, but whatever; it wasn't the hippos fault that there were illegally brought into Colombia and then carelessly set to roam free.

Apparently the one hippo that was slaughtered had the objects in the illustration inside him. Artist Dan Zettwoch created the illustration. We like it.
