BBC auto show Top Gear has received an official demand from the Mexican embassy for an apology after hosts made a slew of xenophobic jokes while reviewing a Mexican sports car called the Mastretta MXT. After jokingly declaring the car to be called "The Tortilla", hosts James May, Richard Hammond, and Jeremy Clarkson went on to hammer at the national identity of Mexico in the most stereotypical way possible. INCLUDING insulting the food. British people. Making fun of Mexican food. That's so funny it's serious again. The entire clip is above, but we'll highlight the best parts for you.

Richard Hammond: Why would you want a Mexican car? [...] Cuz cars reflect national characteristics. Mexican cars are just going to be a lazy, feckless, flatulent, overweight ogre leaning against a fence, asleep, looking at a cactus with a blanket with a hole in the middle as a coat.

Jeremy Clarkson: It's interesting cuz they can't do food, the Mexicans, can they? Cuz it's all, like, sick [vomit] with cheese on it.

Richard Hammond : Refried sick.

James May: Yeah, refried sick.

In another section, Jeremy Clarkson reads the specs aloud and says the car has rack and pinion steering.

Richard Hammond: Wow, it's got steering! [Audience laughs] I'm sorry, but just imagine waking up and remembering you're Mexican. [grimaces] Oh no!

Jeremy Clarkson: Oh, it'd be brilliant. Cuz you could just go straight back to sleep again. 'Oh I'm Mexican [inaudible]'

Richard Hammond:That's all I'm gonna do all day.

Jeremy Clarkson:That's why I won't be looking to get any complaints about this because the Mexican Ambassador's going to be sitting there with the remote control like this [mimes holding the remote while snoring.] They won't complain. It's fine.

Well, they did complain. The Mexican ambassador in London, Eduardo Medina Mora, has written to the BBC about the insults, which BBC News labeled "insults" because, you know, apparently it's debatable.

Hey, I left a comment on here yesterday. What happened to it? Anyway, these guys are idiots, but Brits are known to be abrasive and haughty. Has the BBC issued an official apology?

Yeah, you're 100% right. As a Mexican American, I'm kind of offended that they didn't try harder to offend me and my father's country--wait, does that make sense? I mean, it's like they took their stereotypes from a 1950s Hollywood western. They have to know that Mexico has changed since those days. Anyway, one Mexican journalist aptly described their humor as just plain bad.

The hosts of “Top Gear,” the popular British automobile show, are known for courting conflict. They also seldom have anything nice to say about electric automobiles. A dismal review of the Nissan Motors Leaf has started a brand new beef between the BBC show and Nissan. Resource for this article: Top Gear starts new electric car quarrel over Nissan Leaf.

Repair your car at your home garage; it is better than wasting money at mechanic shops. There are a lot of articles, how to's and auto talk groups online where you can get solution of your problem very easily and get expert advice instead of handing over your car to somebody who would love to charge you heavy bill for nothing. Thanks for expressing your ideas. I might also like to say that video games have been actually evolving. Better technology and innovations have made it easier to create authentic and interactive games. These kind of entertainment video games were not that sensible when the actual concept was being experimented with. Just like other designs of technological know-how, video games too have had to evolve by way of many ages. This itself is testimony towards the fast continuing development of video games.sohbet-evim şahane-mobilya modelleri-bedava chat-chat-islami rüya tabirleri-mynet sohbet
