Jesus Ventura, apparently a bipolar firefighter, was sent home after he fired a pistol inside a fire station in Dallas. He didn't kill anybody, mind you, but Jesus was still placed on paid leave. When that sort of thing happens one usually has lots of spare time to kill. That's why, I'm assuming, Jesus decided it would be fun to rob a bank. (It's either that or watching TV on the couch all day, you know?) But becoming a thief doesn't give you a free pass to be a mannerless jerk, and Mr. Ventura knows that:
"Police say firefighter Jesus Ventura walked into a Dallas Chase Bank on April 10, demanded money from the teller, and left, but not before leaving the teller a $20 bill saying, 'Here’s a tip for you.' The 37-year-old left the bank branch, but was later caught after also robbing a nearby gas station."
Police told reporters Jesus was "incoherent" when he was arrested. Our homeboy, you see, forgot to take his meds during the heist.
And now to answer a question that's been lingering in the subconsciousness of anybody that's been sent home from work: What would Jesus do with his spare paid time? Well, I dunno about white Jesus, but Latino Jesus would rob a bank.
